India Food Tech Expo-2019 will be a Grand Exhibition in scale and a unique platform for industry stakeholders from across the globe to network with each other and also with the prospective end-users. The event will focus exclusively on Food & Processing Machineries, Packaging Machineries and other allied sectors of the Industry.

With over 60percent of India’s total land under agriculture, engaging about 70% people for their livelihood, Indian agriculture has made rapid strides in their sector moving from subsistence activity to a net exporter of food products. India is the world’s largest producer of milk, pulse and ranks as the second largest producer of rice, wheat, sugarcane, groundnut, vegetables and fruits. It is also one of the leading producers of spices, fish, poultry, livestock and plantation crops. With a $2.1trillion economy, India is the world’s third largest after the US and China. During 2017-18 the total food grain production touched a record 277.49m tonnes whereas fruits production in 2016-17 was 93m tonnes, vegetables 175m tonnes and spices 7m tonnes.
