Ingredients:
4 tablespoons of finger millet flour
4cups of water
Lemon/ citric acid to taste
Sugar to taste
Milk (optional)
Yield 8 portions
Procedure:
- Bring the water to boil.
- Make a paste by mixing the finger millet flour in cold water.
- Mix into the boiling water and stir continuously until thick.
- Allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add sugar, citric acid or lemon juice.
- Allow to simmer for a further 5 minutes.
- Remove from the fire and add boiled milk (optional).
- Serve hot.
