Recipe by Vaishali Karthikeyan for Shastha Sunday Samayal

Ingredients :

1 1/2 cups Kodo millet flour
1/2 cup Palm sugar
1/4 cup Cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
2 tbsp butter
1 egg
1 1/4 cup milk

Preparation:

Mix up the dry ingredients
Whisk together the wet ingredients
Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture
Fold together
Pancake batter is ready
Apply some butter on the pan and make the pancakes
Flip & cook on both sides

Whipped cream:
You can use store bought whipped cream or make your own using heavy cream
Use a cold bowl for the process
Whip some heavy cream and maple syrup for 2 to 4 minutes until stiff peaks
Stack the pancakes with whipped cream in between
Drizzle some chocolate syrup & top with crushed oreos
