Apart from overnight breakfast mixes, the brand launched other range of products such as Millet bites, Millet granola, Minor millet snack and little millet idli dosa premix.
Sanjeeta Krishnakumar, founder OGMO foods, hopes to burst the perception that ‘millets take time to cook’ with her range of overnight millets and oats. “I used rolled millets that require no cooking. Combined with spray dried fruit powders and chia seeds, it makes for a great first meal” she says. All one needs to do is soak the mix in water the night before and pair it with fruits of one’s choice the next morning for a wholesome start to the day.
“Soaking whole grains has a lot of benefits. One of them being that it neutralises phytic acids and makes it easier to assimilate all the nutrients,” says Sanjeetha, who has spent the last couple of years researching the benefits of soaked foods.
